President Biden pleaded for unity in inaugural address to a divided nation on Wednesday. “This is our historic moment of crisis and challenge,” the 46th president said on the Capitol steps.
“And unity is the path forward. And we must meet this moment as the United States of America. If we do that, I guarantee you we will not fail.”
“I will be a president for all Americans,” he vowed after taking the oath of office at an inauguration like no other, amid a raging pandemic, in a city that has become a fortress of fences, concrete barriers and security checkpoints
