More than 400 people have died in France in last 24 hours

An additional 418 people with coronavirus have died in the last 24 hours in France, Director-General of Health Jérôme Salomon said on Monday.
This is a 43% increase on Sunday’s figures, bringing the overall French coronavirus death toll to more than 3,000 since March 1.
Salomon said France now has a total of 44,150 confirmed cases of the virus.
Among the 21,000 French coronavirus patients in hospitals, more than 5,000 patients are currently being treated in intensive care units.
